From then studied the photographic techniques and deepened in photomontage. Began to participate in international exhibitions and in 1932 won the first gold medal . In 1934 he reached the second place in the international statistical American Photography , Boston, and in 1938 won the title of World Champion in New Zealand . Aszmann taught photography at several photo clubs of Rio de Janeiro , some of which he helped found , as the Brazilian Association of Photographic Art / ABAF ( 1950-52 ) and Carioca Photography Association ( since 1953 ) . Still taught in Light Photo Cine Club (1958-1962) , New Carioca Photography Association (1970-1972) and the Brazilian Society of Fine Arts ( 1973-1975 ) . From 1963 until his death Aszmann also devoted himself to painting
